Privacy policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

This policy covers the website. The data that a client company manages within the platform is processed by that company as controller and by WorkSail Team as processor, under the data processing agreement [in preparation].

Data controller

[Legal name of the owner], with registered office at [Address] and tax identification [Tax ID]. Contact for any privacy matter: [Contact email]. [Data protection officer, if applicable].

What data we process

Only what you send us when requesting a demonstration through the form:

  • your name, job title and work email;
  • your company and country;
  • the message in which you explain what you want to communicate better.

The site uses no analytics or tracking cookies. [Confirm which access logs the server keeps and for how long.]

What we use them for and on what legal basis

  • To answer your demonstration request and get in touch with you. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box and submitting the form (art. 6.1.a GDPR).
  • To protect the form against abuse, with a limit on submissions per IP address that is kept only in memory and never stored. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in the security of the site (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

[Legal review of the lawful bases.]

Who receives your data

The WorkSail Team team, through an internal email inbox. The following also act as processors:

  • Brevo, which sends the email with your request to that inbox (France, European Union);
  • Hetzner, which hosts the site (Germany, European Union).

We do not sell your data or pass it on to other companies. [Confirm the data processing agreements with both providers and that there are no transfers outside the European Economic Area.]

How long we keep them

The form does not store your data in any database: we only receive them in the internal email inbox. We keep them for [retention period] and then delete them. If you withdraw your consent, we delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, its rectification, its erasure, the restriction of its processing, its portability, and you can object to it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. Write to [Contact email] and we will reply within the statutory period.

If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you can lodge a complaint with [Competent supervisory authority].

Minors

The site is aimed at company professionals, not at minors.

Changes to this policy

If we change anything important, we will publish it here with the update date. Before adding analytics or non-essential cookies we will update this policy and ask for your consent.
